Pembroke Tourist and LeisurePark has been awarded an Excellence award for the Best Inland Park category at the Caravan and Camping Industry association (CCIA) awards held in 2008.
The award follows Pembroke’s previous CCIA awards in 2005 and 2002. The CCIA’s Excellence awards are highly recognised in the camping and caravan industry, with the CCIA’s membership of more than 550 operators and manufacturers being represented on national issues since 1969.

Pembroke has recently upgraded many of its facilities including the addition of two bedroom Superior cabins, a Superior Disabled access cabin, extra landscaping and are currently developing a community vegetable garden.
Pembroke’s owner, Chris Mitchell says his ambition is to continue to grow the 4 star Park and ensure it maintains its role as the best inland park in NSW.

“We believe that the district as a whole, as well as us commercially, will benefit from the knowledge that the best caravan park inland NSW is here in Armidale,” he said.
“It means a lot to both Sigrid and myself, but it was also a team effort and I would like to thank all of our employees who have helped us throughout our time on the park,” Mr Mitchell said.
